Many writers don’t talk about work in progress. I respect that. I’ve always liked to talk, however, about pretty much anything, including current work. I’ve never had a project end up damaged or “dis-enchanted” as a result. On the contrary, I find that sharing tidbits from my writing process and preoccupations can help me figure out what I’m up to. And I flatter myself that I work on interesting stuff.
